Overview

The Ford Oaks Solar and Green Infrastructure Facility is a collaboration with local landowners, including Devon County Council.

The 37.3MW development will provide renewable energy to power approximately 18,500 homes and deliver approximately 80 acres of green infrastructure improvements aiming to increase the wildlife in the valley and alleviate existing flooding issues.

Overview

A 46MW co-located Solar PV and Battery Storage project providing energy equivalent to that used by over 11,500 local homes in 2020.

The proposed development, located in the Afon Llan valley, includes 57 hectares of green infrastructure including regenerative grassland and floodplain storage areas alongside biodiversity and habitat enhancements, encouraging more wildlife species in the valley. The plans also include provision for extensive sheep grazing among the solar arrays, allowing for continued agricultural production on the land in tandem with renewable energy generation.
